ANGEL FIRE EAST is the third episode in the Nest Freemark / John Ross~ Knight of the Word Series.
Not quite as good as the first two (Running with The Demon, Knight of the Word) , it is still eminently readable.

John Ross has gained custody of "The Gypsy Morph" a creature of transient magick which will have an impact on the future of the world.

Pursued by a very powerful demon who would have the Morph for himself, or at least destroy it to prevent its use by the powers of good, John  comes to his old ally Nest for help, after ten years apart.

Lacking the "power" of the first two books, This one is more "human":  Nest and John both want nothing more than a normal life, but find that their duties are too important to put aside, and that they are not the only ones that must make a sacrifice.

If you have not read Running With the Demon and Knight of the Word, Then you can give this one a skip, but if you enjoyed them, then give this one a read-.  Looks like there will be at least one more in this series, and from the way this one ended, The next one should be a really good one.
